D&D 5E Dark sun Times of change

Atroclos drops to his knees beside the wagon. Leaving any digging implements to the smaller companions, his massive hands scoop great masses of sand and rock, hurling it away with a fury.

After about thirty seconds, he looks around and bellows, "Dig! Dig, damn your eyes! Where will you sit when we flip the wagon??? Dig!"

Flipping the cart over everyone begins to dig like they have never dogged before trying to create some shelter from the storm. Once the pit is a few foot deep the party works on forming walls around the edges of there makeshift shelter. It is a tight squeeze getting everyone in, specifically the giant, half-giant and everyone gets very familiar with each other as they all squeeze into the small space.

GM: Whats happening with the crated you possibly could fit them in but carrying them across would take time and who ever grabs them will suffer some minor damage from the storm.

We can't complete our mission without supplies. We can't afford to lose them in the sand. Tarsin moves the crates and whatnot into shelter as best as possible, preferencing the most important so far as he has been able to tell that. He also casts Mage Hand and uses that to assist with both the digging and the moving of supplies. (Mage Hand can carry items up to 10 pounds; I don't know if it could shove or move heavier items.)

The drawing tools are crammed in the bottom of the crates. You will only be able to haul one crate at a time and each trip is going to deal 1d4 damage as to red hot sand being blown around at high speed.
