Iago shrugs and grins. "Well, I did find the baby scorpions, but point taken, Caramir. While I take care of this, keep an eye on those doors. The battle sounds may attract unwanted attention."

Iago goes back to searching the fireplace carefully, while the others look around as well. About ten minutes later the room has been completely searched and only a few curious items have been found.

The first is an electrum candlestick holder <Appraise check needed> that was under the nest-like rubble of the table.

The second (found in a secert compartment in the fireplace) is a scrap of parchment rolled up and stuffed into a ring (the third item). The only thing written on the paper is the name "Sareth'tuel". The ring detects as magical.
