DDM 2.0 stat cards are up!

I presume that Conceal 6 and Conceal 11 is the number which you have to roll on a d20 to successfully target the creature in DDM world.

Yes. It's on page 43 of the rules. I would cut&paste for you, but the PDF is protected.

That's obnoxious. Do they provide a plain text version of the rules I can actually scroll through quickly or view on my PDA?

Considering they didn't have to provide it for free at all, protecting their PDF from cut and paste is simply a business decision (and a quite understandable one), so lets not derail this interesting and useful thread about the DDM 2.0 stats by discussing the ins and outs of PDF policy.

Thanks!

The Mummy is listed with Resist 10 Necrotic, which implies that normal Undead don't have any such resistance. That is very, very interesting.

Maybe that's just for special big-boys like demons and angles etc.

Makes sense.

Having looked through again, the thing that strikes me most, in a most definitely positive way, is the synergistic nature of a lot of the creatures' powers. A lot of them seem to have one attack that causes a certain condition (helpless, stunned, etc) and another that they can use only on opponents with that (or that and some related other) condition.

I hope that synergy is there with 4e monsters too. It makes sense and makes it look so much more organic.

Would it just be a natural d20 roll or adding something like wisdom or (perception?) to it.

Woah... have you noticed how tough the pig farmer is? +8 attack doing 10 damage and has a 17 AC. How on earth does he have stats this good?

Also, I notice that the Ogre is as tough as the Troll as they are both level 8. Low level adventurers in 4e are going to be in for some rude surprises.
