Elise is going to be aloe wrestling with a vampire?!? I think not !(course she doesn't know that, and nobody has yet told her about all the aloey fun to be had)
Don't worry, the real secret is that Lasair is not really a vampire at all ;)

Do liches float?

(Also reminds me of my favorite quote ever, "She's really a nice, sweet girl... it's just that she's a violent maniac.")

Ahem.

Could we concentrate on the topics of proposal threads, please? If you want to hive, use the Hivemind, the Discussion thread (in moderation), or the fitting adventure thread (with approval of the participating players and DMs).

Is it expected that the travel to the north will involve a little adventure to be roleplayed, or will we just waive our hands and say "You take Gorefoot to Sanctus. After paying XXX, he's alive again, one level lower."?
It is, depending on the location, a long journey. It's after all at the northern end of the world. So, an adventure would be appropriate. Powerful effects may well ease that journey, of course.

Has the affected player said anything yet? Or is he away for the weekend (which may be longer for americans due to the 4th of July?)?

I agree--look how much trouble my Immortality Awakens group has gotten themselves into just travelling for less than a week out of Orussus :)

With that understanding, I think I could approve Creamsteak's proposal. Of course, this means that no resurrection can happen without the recruitment of a suitable DM.

Gorefoot is played by IcyCool. I don't think we need to rush IcyCool on this momentous decision. We'll need to establish our rules eventually, so we might as well do it now. Also, the redcap who killed Gorefoot has not (yet?) been defeated, so Gorefoot's companions, even assuming they want to bring him back to life and he is willing, aren't quite ready to prepare for the long journey northward.
