Yes, do you have a character concept?
A quick head's up, I will be away on vacation and incommunicado from 6/21-6/30.

- However, I think a bard, though more combat oriented that I had in mind, might fit in well.
The basic concept is a tongue-in-cheek to one of my favourite settings, the Wilderlands, and again, to one of my favourite D&D modules, The Speaker in Dreams:
Prince Justin Gerrard of Brindinford, in order to escape an unwanted marriage, has decided to travel the world in search of adventure. Freeport being the biggest seaport within reach of his father's small pocket kingdom, his route has lead him there. He is cocky, extravagant, and has no sense for money - which might be the actual reason he is looking for a job; his expensive lifestyle has left him nearly broke.![]()

Walking Dad said:Hallo, schön jemanden aus der Heimat in der Gruppe zu haben!![]()
This was german.
Voadam said:A bard works fine. A quick note on nobility though. The theocratic Northern empire has plenty of nobles (both minor country ones and nobility attached to the various cities that were independent kingdoms a thousand years ago) but none truly rule a kingdom or hold the title of king today (though prince is OK). A small island could house an actual minor kingdom if you want to be the son of a king if you want to be human and from nearby.
Ivid said:As to his home, I think of something like Leah in the Shannara novels. (~Monaco) Brindinford could be a small city state on one of the islands, for example.![]()
