Deicide: The slaying of Cyric. 3.5 Epic

Or we have ML build the best characters (Say they were chosen for the mission) and we just add the RP ;) That would work great for me with my limited resources.

How about it ML you can stat up some guys let us buy equipment (with a few suggests from you of course) and we just add the flavor to the stats.

That's like one step away from me playing alone in my room with all my shiny toys :D

Sorry guys, I tend to go overboard with suggestions. CM you can play the way you like. Same with grufflehead. You'll have to figure out how to kill Cyric in-character and not via overpowered combat characters :)

I don't want to take away player creativity, but simply suggset better alternatives. Monkey you can use your familiar to cast two spells per round (imbue falimiar with spell ability).

OK I will keep quiet for now, and let you guys work out your concepts between each other, and only rule yay or nay on things you need for the char creation. Do what thou will :)

Right then the combat, spells, stats and all is for fighting minions then?

And when it comes to destorying a god it will be more story arc as it should be. Sounds awesome to me.

Well you have all the options before you. Figure it out in-character. Obviously going in at level 20 isn't really the best idea regardless of their crunch. But that's not somtething I (or the plot) will stop you from doing. If you decide that the best thing to do is plane shift and bang on Cyric's door, feel free :)

You could asko for help, ask knowledgeble people for guidance, serach for ways to overcome his godly godlyness... Decisions decisions.. It's all up to you! :)

I will have to read up on some of the more recent FR lore to give you the exact years and months. Probably one to three months prior to the events that brought the Spellplague, anything more is risking the fabric of reality, especially since Elminster & co are laying Mythal on top of Mythal to get the effect, while magic is running wild around them. You can RP this in game, there are certain risks to going further and further back, the PCs and NPCs will have to decide just how far back they want to risk sending you.

more questions regarding bows: Can I use a Composite Greatbow? I found it in Dragon 349, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere else too, 200 gp +200 gp per point of strength bonus, 1d10 damage (+ strength bonus) X3 critical, 130 ft. range increments and weighs 6 pounds.

Also I'm assuming I get a million gp to burn on all my equipment: just my bow, a backpack (2gp), 10 torches (1 sp) and bedroll (1 sp) along with a waterskin (1gp) and 3 weeks trail rations (10.5 gp) I intend to maximize my Dexterity, so Armor would only penalize me.which leaves me: 999986 gp, 3 sp to burn on my bow, can I use epic enhancements? (Sonic Blast, +6 Enhancement Bonus)

If I can't either do an epic weapon, or put epic enhancements on a nonepic weapon I will probably do a +5 Distance, Frost Burst Composite Greatbow as long as it is within my price range.

Gandalf: yeah the greatbow, I remember that it can't be shot from horseback. It's in a book somewhere but I can't recall which one. As per post #1, yes you do get 1 million gp. There are some things i recommend you get: Con bonus items, Str bonus items, Dex items, flight items. You can get a cloak of SR, Anklets of Translocation etc. Also, there are numerous ways to increase the DEX bonus to a suit of armour. Read this link (I posted it on page 4 as well)

You can burn all your gold on the bow, epic items are allowed (as your characters are epic pre-timetravel) just no artifacts.

Monkey: You can take VOP but if the sole reason is so you can skip on shopping i advise you to reconsider. It will severely cripple your character - Wizards need those Int boosting, Con boosting items, circlets of rapid casting, rods of metamagic x, Hewards Handy Harversakc & Fortifying Bedroll, ring of Enduring Arcana, pearls of power, Ioun stones etc. I'd allow you to keep your mundane spellbooks but not a Blessed Book which is considered magical treasure.
