I thought we couldn't have 3rd level characters yet? Or was that an advanced character?

My understanding is we can submit 3rd level characters at this point, to avoid a last minute rush on the character judges once we're ready to allow 3rd characters. I won't be able to actually play T'Ranis for the time being, but I'm sure Stonegod and company would rather not get 30 submissions at once.

T'Ranis now has "Retrospective" advancement logs for levels 1 through 3, if you can take another look.

3rd level characters are not available for proposal till they are announced. That was to be after it was approved by the other judges, pending 2 3rd level adventures.

That was nearly 2 months ago, and we've had 2 adventure submitions since then. One by me to clear out people waiting in the tavern (some who'd been waiting since January), and one who answered the call for a 3rd level adventure.

We have at least one adventure that's ready to put people back in the tavern. If we can't get more GM support, we won't be able to sustain more players, which tells me that we can't do 3rd level characters yet.

We need more game masters before we can expand our roster, given we're having trouble working with what we have.

I appreciate that, but we don't want to backlog them when playable characters are waiting for approval.

Sorite I know you're just itching to get a 3rd leveler in there (So am I for that matter, but it doesn't help if we can't handle it with extra games)

I would be interested in judging adventures. However, I have no real talent for writing. I could give it a try though.

Most of our extant characters are 2nd/1st. As per our proposal, if we get another 3rd level proposal in, we could open players to 3rd levels PCs at creation. However, everything Bront says above is still true.

Not sure how many adventures will be getting out soon.

I think there's a few of us in the tavern, but they are pretty quiet

Well I'd be happy to start a 3rd level adventure instead, but I'm concerned that it sounds like that might open up the gates for a new influx of 3rd level characters and therefore leave the current 2nd levels stuck in the Tavern for another few months. Which would be a shame. So unless someone has beaten me to it and cleared the Tavern by the time my adventure is ready, I'll be aiming to tune it for a party of 1st-2nd level.
