Personally I've always thought that what D&D could really do with is a warlock-like class that has unlimited low level healing with long cast times (essentially someone who can patch people up out of combat but whose healing is largely underpowered in combat) with some combat abilities to make up for it that don't draw on the same pool as their healing abilities (unlike a clerics spell-pool). Currently the closest thing to a healing-warlock that I've seen is a Binder (Tome of Magic) who seem to be surprisingly balanced. Something Wizards should think about for a theoretical 4th edition maybe? *shrugs*

No need of unlimited low-healing, you just need one (or more) wand of Cure Light Wounds. That small stick is an essential. With that, you can easily heal between combat, and it can be use by the Cleric, the Bard, the Ranger and the Paladin.

And the druid, spirit shaman, and favored soul.

Can we make 3rd level characters here?

But soon, Solange, soon. Just waiting for someone else to write an adventure, so my 3rd level bard can be statted up and fail miserably at whatever he attempts.

So excited! :D

Something I was wondering, when will dragonmarked be allowed for prestige classes and feats. There is some neat stuff in there. In particular, the House Orien prestige class form y fighter. also, lvl three guys would be cool but honestly, I am happy with two characters and how busy they are. two is enough for now.

I might do a spirit shamen if they're available, but I'd like to play something above 1st level for a change :)

I am awaiting with anticipation and dread the unveiling of my first ever character with a level adjustment. Bards may have some issues, but at least you'll have 3 HD at 3rd level. ;)

Oh dear. LA, eh? What's the plan? Bugbear? Something crazy like that?

If it's an LA +1, experience shows that you'll do alright. Our LA+1 characters did well at 3rd level, although the Goliath was a paper dragon for some of the big fights - could deal out the damage, but a single push and he was blown away.

A Githzerai. Follow the "T'Ranis" link in my .sig if you want to check out the character sheet. We're using the racial class from Complete Psionic, so at ECL 3 he'll have 2 class levels but only some of the racial bonuses. The first time I level up, I won't actually gain a level. ;)
