Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper

I've come to the point in my soda-drinking career that I can no longer distinguish the typical diet taste... in fact, the taste of regular soda generally makes me cringe... (unless its Sunkist... sweet, sweet Sunkist).

I will have to try this Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (DCVDP? - one heck of a long name for a pop).

Anyone else tried this? I just picked a bottle up today. It's pretty good, actually. Kind of like an all-in-one soda, with all your soda fountain flavors dumped into one.

I'm a big fan of Diet Dr Pepper and Diet Vanilla Coke, though, so go figure.

but isn't Dr. Pepper owned by Pepsi?

Just bought 6 cases. Yes it is good. The caffine free diet Dr. Pepper was the only one that had no "after taste" to speak of. Hard to get though; I had to keep a standing order with a grocery chain to get it. This new one tastes great, and I have not noticed an after taste with it.

Pretty sure Dr. Pepper is a Coke product.

Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Inc is an independent subsidiary of Cadbury Schweppes.

Dr. Pepper is sold by various Coke, Pepsi & RC bottlers depending on regional location.

My wife likes it quite a bit, although she says that both the cherry and the vanilla flavors are weaker than she'd like. She prefers "homemade" diet cokes (and since I'm an old-time Texas boy, coke with a little 'c' means any soft drink) with grenadine and actual vanilla added in at the bar.
