Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper

Kind of like an all-in-one soda, with all your soda fountain flavors dumped into one.

Ya know, I've sometimes wondered why none of the soda companies have done just that- Suicide, Diet Suicide, etc. Probably have to call it something else , but you take my meaning.

There are few diet drinks I like, because of the "diet aftertaste". This is one of them. In fact, it's probably replaced Diet Sprite as my favorite diet pop.

I thought the Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper just tasted like Dr. Pepper with a little more syrup. Ditto for diet version. I quite like diet cherry pepsi. For covering the diet taste, you need diet vernors.

This stuff is like crack. By all rights it should suck -- too many flavors in one soda -- but it's fast becoming my soda of choice.

Finding out how good it was more than made up for trying Pepsi Blue, Vanilla Coke, MD LiveWire and GrapeWhatever.

We were just commenting on how many words are in the title of this soda at work, and someone made a crack about "what if it were a German soda" and we had a good laugh about all the words being run together as one giant uber-word. And that led to me dubbing it "Dr. Sh..." (however you spell the German word for feces). Which is what we call it now. But only in the teacher's lounge.

I've never tasted it; maybe after I do I won't go around talking smack about it behind its back.
