OK, if judges don't at least help to keep track of approvals themselves, and furthermore, take back approvals, that aspect of the job is gonna quickly be too unwieldy for someone (aka, ME) to do.
I'd like to suggest a coupla guidelines:
- If you impact the voting by voting or taking back a vote, can we make it so you hafta email me about it? And not one email per each, but something like, "hey, dpdx - this is other judge, and I voted for these deities while yanking my approval of these other ones." That alone would allow me to update the pantheon in as much time as I'm willing to devote to it, and be a great help.
- Also, can we make authors post something to the effect that they're done tweaking, and it's okay to go in and look, before we start showering approvals on them? Some of you judges have been conditionally approving, or putting a deity over the top, when stuff isn't final yet. And as some of you found out, you may not like the final explanation, and even possibly have to revoke approval. Never mind how much of a pain that is to keep track of, but what were you thinking you approved?
Judge rant over. Thanks for taking care of Gliran, Jack.
