Sounds good, CS.

Somebody needs to add Gliran to the Pantheon Record. Jack gave him the requisite third vote over the weekend, and I can't see getting to it for a while.

Well, originally there were a lot of people saying, "homebrew pantheon!"

I think that, as long as we provide all the necessary info, we should probably limit ourselves to LEW pantheon only. However, we should also provide matching domain deities. The deity I created has Boccob's domains, I believe. If we could align at least some of the others (and reference this), that would be good.

Yep... Both Phyrah and Mogrel are slight variations on Farlaughn.

Done.

OK, if judges don't at least help to keep track of approvals themselves, and furthermore, take back approvals, that aspect of the job is gonna quickly be too unwieldy for someone (aka, ME) to do.

I'd like to suggest a coupla guidelines:

- If you impact the voting by voting or taking back a vote, can we make it so you hafta email me about it? And not one email per each, but something like, "hey, dpdx - this is other judge, and I voted for these deities while yanking my approval of these other ones." That alone would allow me to update the pantheon in as much time as I'm willing to devote to it, and be a great help.

- Also, can we make authors post something to the effect that they're done tweaking, and it's okay to go in and look, before we start showering approvals on them? Some of you judges have been conditionally approving, or putting a deity over the top, when stuff isn't final yet. And as some of you found out, you may not like the final explanation, and even possibly have to revoke approval. Never mind how much of a pain that is to keep track of, but what were you thinking you approved?

Judge rant over. Thanks for taking care of Gliran, Jack.

creamsteak, you indicated that you would post a poll on approval of the old "switch out leveled character for ecl-ed one" idea, but I haven't seen one. Is there any consensous on this (I don't recall as strong decision either way back when it was brought upas an accedemic point.)

It might help to have a post by the Judge account that has the list, so that we can just edit it, rather than reposting continually.

I also think that it's a good idea for the Proposees to ask for approvals when their proposal is ready.

I think that with most content, we shouldn't say "yes" in big bold yellow text until we see it formatted as a final draft. We can say that we approve of something, which means it has our vote, but until it's formatted and all aspects are completed in the right sorta format we can't really say Yes to it.

Great idea. Now that it's sticky, I can edit the first post in the Pantheon Record with the full list instead of just the approved list. That should help us all know where it is, and be able to edit.

I might be able to get to that tonight.

Incidentally, Sela and the Community domain (who've gotten a big yellow 'yes' from Jack and nimisgod while still nominally in limbo and a conditional yes from Creamsteak) is now entirely solidified. Nothing was changed since it was last looked at. Link here:

Both the diety and the domain are in the first post.

Edit: And apropos of nothing at all- did we ever decide whether or not to use the partial save and BAB bonus progressions? There was a bunch of talk about it a while ago, but I can't recall if anything was decided.

Okay, the first post in the now sticky Pantheon Record Thread is amended with the approval list as it was when I last updated it (that is, before nimisgod's first set of approvals). I will no longer be posting an updated list to the discussion or organization threads.

Judges now need to edit the list along with posting any newly-approved deities.
