Disguises: Spell vs. Skill?

So, let's take the following hypothetical:

A mid-level Bard with a 20 Charisma has 5 ranks in Disguise. She creates a disguise for herself (skill check +10), but also uses the disguise self spell, which gives +10 to her Disguise checks. For numerical simplicity, we'll assume her DM rolls a 10 for her.

So, the question is, what is needed to see through this Disguise? I can see several possibilities:

(1) DC 16 Will save. The spell is an illusion, and scrutinizing the disguise is an interaction. Since the disguise was created magically, seeing through the glamer sees through the disguise.

(2) DC 30 Spot check. The spell adds a straight +10 to the Disguise check.

(3) DC 30 Spot check, BUT a DC 16 Will save drops the Spot DC to 20. This seems the most logical option, but it (a) seems unnecessarily complex and (b) isn't well-enumerated in the rules.

Any thoughts?

You would only get the Will save if you interacted with the disguise somehow, which I would think would be extremely difficult since you're not creating something that isn't there. I mean, if you had horns, or added horns, then there'd be more of a displacement, but if you simply altered your appreance, I'd say you'd almost have to go so far as to kiss the bard in order to even get a Will Save for that.

I would say option #2 is the most correct.

What die_kluge said. If some interaction makes it clear that something is not right, e.g. someone wearing armor uses the spell to make it appear that he is not and you pat him on the shoulder and feel the armor, then you get the Will save. Otherwise, it's just the straight DC 30 spot check.
