DM and Players needed for NON-D&D PbP game

I'm getting tired of D&D. Anyone else want to play a different type of D20 game?
I'm up for anything.

I'd be willing to play in a modern game. I would like it to take place on a global scale and we get to see different cities & cultures around the world.

LOL we could have a different DM per city per adventure? All take turns so that each person can do all the research it would take to run a game like this.

Perhaps sometype of spy thriller in the good old style of James Bond?

Could we not have psychic er pscionic stuff? How about we just stick to things that are more real worldish? LOL just don't want every character to be a telepath/telekinetic superpower.

I've been wanting to try out d20 Modern after picking up the book recently, so count me in.

I can't really stand any of the sample settings in the book, though. Anyone interested in some kind of Special Forces group?

Near future hard sci-fi is another interesting possibility.

D20 modern would be cool. (i'd have to pick up the book...) But I would like to do something more bladerunnerish or Shadowrun like. The near future would be cool. and different races other than the standerd races from D&D (with the exception of humans)

I like the idea of tradeing off DM chores. I would be willing to DM some.

Here's an Idea! We take the earth in say 100 years and have a panthion of Gods return. Imagine what the world would turn into if the Egyptian gods returned. Or the AZTECS.......

I second, third, and fourth that motion. No psychic/Psionic stuff, I think we could probably get off wit all taking turns DMing. (well, everyone who wants to take a turn, that is)
But could we do something other than a "Spy/bond" game? I propose a more "adventure" oriented one.
Perhaps a bunch or explorers?
Or maybe we're on the run for some reason or another? (Falsely accused, pissed off a big company/government, etc)

I see a few different trends so I'll try and come up with a few different things.

What about tone, though? Fun, serious? Realistic, anime?

with different DMs there could be all sorts of tones. I for one like horror.
