DM questions that make you go "Uh oh"

Lanefan

Victoria Rules
Some of these have already been hit, but they're my tried and true player-awakeners:

"Character sheet, please."

"What *were* you at?" (always in reference to hit points)

"Watch list, please."

"What is your armour class and how does it get there?"

"Very good. You all need saving throws."

"Your spell went wild*. Roll percentage." (* - or "your item blew up")

And the most common, simplest, and old-schoolest of them all:

"Six-sided!"

Do you have "gloves" written down on your character sheet?

Who has the (mysterious magic item) and where do they keep it?

What are your exact words?

4E: Didn't you use that Daily Power in that fight against the bugbears?

Some real fun ones...

"it's a very strange monster. It seems to be feeding on a pile of rust..."

"This is well within your challenge range."

"Hey, guys! I just read this new book on DMing tricks, and I'll be trying them out tonight..."

"You know what? I don't think we do enough role-playing. So, you're in the tavern. What to do you say to the barmaid?" (GAH!)

"...oops."

(My personal favourite): Are you *sure* you're going to rest? (This one started in an Iron Heroes game... and it's kind of picked up from there).
