I don't know... is a Silver Siangham a "common" melee weapon?

Believe me, I have issues with some of the "common" weapons in that table. The uncommon table has things like battle-axes, longspears, etc. Not really so uncommon compared to that other stuff, I think its just to help monks, but it seems crappy to me.

I agree completely! I had a dwarf with a warhammer, and was pissed that it is on the uncommon chart, and yet dwarven waraxe was the most common item on the common chart (IIRC, and this was in 3.0, so it might be different now).

I mean, come on, an exotic weapon is more common than the martial warhammer?

Crap. Total crap.
