There are other books on there that are replacements or straight up reprints of other books. S1-4: Dungeons of Dread reprints the S series of adventures for example. For collectors and nostalgia hounds, having all those options available is a good thing. That's strange. Why did they do the 3.0 psionics book? I thought XPH was supposed to replace it entirely.
Maybe they will put up the 3.0 core books next. Who knows. No argument there, but it seems strange, after all WotC hasn't really bothered to make 3.0 core available, but they're doing it with the psionics.
It's worth noting that, while the 3.0 Psionics Handbook was entirely superseded by the 3.5 Expanded Psionics Handbook, the former has a psionic combat system, whereas the latter did away with the concept entirely by making the attack and defense "modes" be regular psionic powers. (I'm not sure how many people were sorry to see it go, but it's an interesting artifact of psionics that we haven't seen since, notwithstanding third-party takes on the concept.)That's strange. Why did they do the 3.0 psionics book? I thought XPH was supposed to replace it entirely.
