I'm sorry, but I can't agree. To me, even the Rogue is woefully lacking in skill points. IMHO the game would be better with no skill system whatsoever.

No need to apologise. I understand that, among those who have bought Star Wars Saga ed., the majority have probably voted in favour of the skill system therein. Partly because they've just spent money on that book, perhaps. :p

Anyway, it doesn't bother me at all who agrees or disagrees. I find that D&D 3e plays perfectly well (I'm in a couple of 3e campaigns currently, and have run it before, and will again soon), and that the skill system is actually one of the better designed aspects, overall.

YMMV, is what this all boils down to. :)
