Nope. Eladrin lore seems largely consistent to me. Across editions. Basically, strongly feytouched elves from another plane. Cousins to the more "standard" elf. 2e? Check. 3.x? Check? 4e? Check. 5e? Check.As has been pointed out earlier in the thread, "eladrin" meant one thing before 4e, 2e and 3e had them as CG extraplanar creatures, then the name was co-opted into teleporting elves in 4e. Going by the definition of eladrin from 2e/3e, I'm not at all sure 4e has them. Nevertheless, something bears that name in 4e - it's just not the same thing.
