D&D 5E Do you feel like the "Sorcerer" is really lacking in options?

It's nothing super-fancy.

Arcane Bloodline
Magic is your birthright. Whether it is because you’re the descendant of an ancient archmage, or simply from a long line of wizards, magic comes to you as naturally as breathing.

Innate Wizardry
At 1st level, choose one Cantrip from the Wizard list. You can use Charisma as the casting ability for this Cantrip and it does not count against your Cantrips known.

Ritual Caster
You can choose to cast any spell you know with the Ritual descriptor as a ritual without expending a spell slot.

Arcane Bond
At 1st level you know the spell Find Familiar. It does not count against your spells known.

Expanded Arcana
At 6th, 14th and 18th level you can add one spell from the Wizard list to your spells known. These spells can be of any level you can cast and do not count against your number of spells known. Even though they are Wizard spells, you still use Charisma as your casting ability, as normal.
