Blood & Magic... now there's a name from the past. While the game was clunky and slow compared to its contemporaries (C&C, Warcraft), it had a certain... charm.

Although the bloodforges aren't new, I don't want robots in FR. At least not as race. I'd accept a robot character being a unique creature created by a mad wizard (mad because there is no reason to waste effort and gold to create somehting as powerful as an ordinary human), but if the story was nice I'd let it in the game.
But as the robot race, no thanks.

Hah! Not only do you get robots, but you also get the X-men! Tieflings (Nightcrawler), changelings (Mystique), soulknives (Psylocke) and shifters (Rahne). Suck it! The Comprehend Languages spell even turns you into Cypher, and if a Warforged casts it, he gets to be Douglock.

Don't know where it is right now, but Rich Baker has stated (either Candlekeep or WOTC messageboards) that there will be NO warforged in the 4e FRCG.

Wow, I don't recognize any of those location names as belonging to the Forgotten Realms. Was it FR in any way other than having the logo on the box?

And it's interesting how Basal Golems seem to predate the Warforged.

I like Warforged, I like 4e changes and I am keeping an open mind on 4e FR changes, but thank the heavens no Warforged for FR. Warforged are for Eberron, keep them there.

I was already going to put Warforged in my game by Red Wizards going to Eberron and buying a Creation Forge and making their own on Toril.
Now that WOTC does it officially I dont have to waste a whole campaign explaining it.

I have warforged in my campaign. They are few, they are creations of a lich in mintar. Now they are part of the army of Mintar (now free from Darkhope, thanks to my players).

I' like the idea to put them in the 5 kingdoms, it's a way to make those lands unique from the rest of faerun.
