Mine broke a year and a half ago, and I've never replaced it. I'm hardly ever in a place where I don't have the time up in front of me, so it's rarely an issue.

I wear a pocket watch, and have for several years. Before that, I wore a wrist watch pretty much from the age of 12. I guess it has to do with punctuality. There's fewer excuses for being late if you wear a watch.

I wore a watch my entire life until this year when my watch broke and I decided to see what would happen if I didn't replace it. So far, mixed results. Sometimes I wish I had one, but most of the time I can figure out what time it is through another means.

Even before cell phones I did not wear a watch, I haave girly wrists and they all looked freakishly large on me.

I have that problem, too.

One of the upsides from using a cell phone for the time is that cell phones get their time from the tower. So, if you travel, cell phone time is automatically updated to reflect local time. i.e., you never have to set the time on a cell phone. Secondly, cell tower time is based on atomic clock time, to ensure proper reporting for cell phone usage, criminal investigations, etc. So, cell phones always have very accurate time.

Use the old cell phone. Watches bother me, especially when I'm typing, reading, doing anything that uses both my hands in essence. Even a light watch.

I used to wear a watch all of the time. These days I don't really wear one much, not even sure why. These days I just check the time on the PDA when I need to or on the computer that I tend to be in front of.
