A museum in Paris recently bought for several millions of ?uros two "artistic objects". The first is two palmtree (real palmtrees, in pot) with a living parrot on a perch. The second is two palmtrees and a dead, straw-stuffed parrot on a perch.

The artist's art is crookery.

Might I suggest that if you wish to discuss the value of art, that you take it to this thread:

Rather than bog down the good Doctor's.

I'm trying to decide if I want three seperate pics or one big one. Any recomendations?
Lela, is this the question you wanted an answer to? I recommend three separate... the characters can be merged into one larger image that way, and you still get cool solo-peoples.

Yep, that's the one. Wanted your expertise.

And the charge?

My hero!

Doc Mindnight is my hero!

Character creation - creating an interesting one, that is - has always been difficult for me. Lodi Oken, my "Tortian" (turtle) Jedi is one of my proudest creations. Imagine my excitement when I received Doc's incredible rendition of my character as a 25th birthday gift from my honey!! (Thanks Gospog! :p)

Whatever price my husband paid for Doc's artwork was worth it and more. It looks exactly like the character I imagine as we play. Want to see it? Doc links to it in his first post in this thread.

A very cool gift.

Doc Midnight... you rock!!

Okay Doc, this offer still good? I finally got some lazy Disneyland going PCs to give me a description and I'm ready with three characters who need their true forms revealed.

50 bucks?! Do they come painted on black velvet with an oak frame at that price?

That's only a bit more than the WoT hardbound or the FRCS hardbound. For a character that you'll use ofter and want other people to be able to see as you do, that's not bad, IMHO. Granted, I wouldn't pay $100 for character artwork, but that's not because I wouldn't pay $100 for art, but because I wouldn't pay $100 for a character. :)

I've got a 6'4" pretty-boy Baklunish acrobat/athlete that I'd pay $50 for a picture of if I was reasonably sure that his lifespan would excede next session (RtToEE without a cleric).
