D&D General Does anyone else title their D&D sessions?

Well, just to finish off the campaign from where I left off:

96. Field Trip to Hell
97. Coronation Day
98. Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Undeath
99. The Conclave of Skulls
100. Undead Dreams

I managed to get one last "________ Dreams" title in there at the end.

And in another week we'll start up my follow-up campaign, "Down to Erthe," which will take place in the same campaign world but 20 years later. And I've set a challenge for myself: I'm going to try to incorporate the word "Down" into all of my (100) adventure titles. I have the first 10 adventures figured out, although only half of those are fully written up thus far.

I give each session a title when I post the summary to the blog. I always come with the name after the session and I avoid just using a module name , if I can. Some recent ones:

Sabotage and Skullduggery
Barbecue. Crashers
Plot Dump (followed by)
Less Lore, More Gore
Total. Party. Kill. DM Wins!

I try to have fun with it.
Edit: spelling

The rest of my group has never once regretted the fact that I am in charge of naming and assigning thumbnails to our session recordings.

My now completed Ravenloft game was based on the Magnus Archives and each "arc" (sometimes a session, sometimes two or three) had an title.

THE MESONOXIAN ARCHIVE

1. Autobiography (opener) - our protagonists are given an invitation to a strange and prestigious library.
2. House of Lament (module) - the groups first mission; to explore a haunted mansion in Borca
3. Eyes without a Face - a charismatic newcomer has infiltrated the Dementieu Ball. Who is she?
4. Alternative Therapy - a doctor has a radical new cure for lycanthropy
5. Uncanny Valley - a peaceful village is beset by a dark horseman every night. Is there more to this story than it first appears?
6. Requiem for a Scream - someone is murdering the residents of Il Aluk on the anniversary of the Requiem (scream homage)
7. Mourning Rail - a spy lurks on the Cyre 1313, threatening to expose the identity of the Mysterious Passenger
8. The Mourning After (module) - the 1313 only makes one stop: Dread Metrol. Can the group escape?
9. Freak Show - The Radkos jester Grimm invites the group to survive his deadly carnival. They are the main events!
10. Cage of Delirium (module) - old ghosts haunt the burnt remains of Haverhold Asylum
11. Sins of the Past - the ghosts of one of the PCs have literally come back to haunt him
12. Dead Man's Party - zombie-infused rum threatens the city of Port d'Ehnor
13. Origin of Species - One of the PCs learns the truth of his unique creation [he is an awakened cat]
14. Don't Lose Your Head (module) - what happened AFTER the events of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow?
15. You Better Watch Out (Xmas special) - Grimm returns to tell the group a tale of Christmas cheer, Ravenloft style! Featuring Krampus!
16. Field of Dreams - a haven for hexbloods is less the dreamy escape it appears as their hag creator haunts their dreams
17. Clinical Trials - one of the PCs mentors requests help of the group with an experimental medication that opens them to new dimensions. Though their are side effects...
18. Music of the Night - one of the PCs must face her sire as he springs a trap for her in the Dementieu Opera House
19. Crimson Vow - You are cordially invited to the Wedding of Lyssa Von Zarovich and Jandar Sunstar, to be held in Castle Ravenloft, Barovia
20. Redacted (that's the name in the log because the story got sidelined due to real worlds events, and eventually reconned. Fitting, since it was supposed to deal with Azalin and the Dark Powers)
21. The Styes (module) - strange things are amiss in a broken harbor town in the Sea of Sorrows
22. Book of Revelations - the origin and true nature of the Mesonoxian Archive is revealed.
23. Epilogue - in light of the revelation, only one thing is left to do: decide who will be the new archivist.
