Does Uncanny Dodge stack?

Bagpuss

Legend
IE: If you have a Barbarian / Rogue 6/3 with two levels of Uncanny Dodge from Barbarian and one from Rogue what are the rules.

a) He can't be flanked (that's what two levels gives you)
b) He gets +1 save vs traps and all the other stuff (as three levels give you)

Also if flanked by a 10th level Rogue would he count as flanked and so can be sneak attacked or would the rogue have to be 13th level as both classes provide Uncanny Dodge?

The levels stack and you check the Barbarian class description. This is an example from the PHB at the end of the class section under multiclassing.

Actually its neither of my examples. Thanks for the pointer to the section in the PHB.

You just count the character as an 9th level rogue for calculating Uncanny Dodge and you check on the Rogue class.

Erm no the players handbook states that a Barbarian / Rogue can count his Barbarian levels as Rogue levels for seeing what level of Uncanny Dodge not the other way around.

Although saying that, I've just check the SRD and that's added a bit

In the special case of uncanny dodge, both experienced barbarians and experienced rogues have the same ability. A barbarian/rogue can treat barbarian levels as rogue levels (or vice versa) to determine how effective the uncanny dodge is.

That vice versa bit isn't in the PHB, although why would you ever want to count your barbarian levels as rogue levels? Since the barbarian always gets the progression quicker.

Ah 3rd edition removing all the rules conflicts, to introduce some more.

I believe the PHB errata fixes this.

Get the revised edition.
