Alpha's continued obsession with Echo may cost her everything. Ballard makes a decision that could change the rest of his life. One Doll's story ends as another's is revealed.
A good episode, and whoever called Whiskey's identity got it just right.
It's interesting that, given the obvious residual personalities that reside in the dolls, the dollhouse hasn't taken more direct precautions with regard to the kinds of imprints they will allow the dolls to possess (client wants a violent crime spree fantasy a la "Natural Born Killers"? Don't send former psychopath alpha).
Given that Ballard burned his last bridge of legitimacy to the FBI, and that clearly nobody will believe him about the dollhouse even if discovering it is simply a matter of looking in the building when you've got a legal reason to, I still don't get why Ballard allowed himself to become an employee of the dollhouse. Even rescuing Mellie doesn't seem like a particularly compelling motive, when all the other dolls are still prisoners/slaves/zombies.
Lots of good Whedon-esque lines in this one.
A less than ideal resolution to the Alpha storyline. I keep coming back to the opinion of "lame".
Still, all things considered, I would like the show back next year.
