Don't you have friends/parents who do? Just give them the money and have them order it for you.
Unless it was specifically stated that the price you were looking at was valid at a store, there is absolutely no obligation to give you that price at a store. For example you can't even take an add from some CompUSA in California and expect it to be honored at a store in Indiana. The web sites for nearly all companies are separate operations from the stores and until the inventory networks improve substantially they pretty much have to be.
I worked at a CompUSA for nearly 6 years. Nobody working at a Store is out there to screw you over on prices or trying to pull bait and switch in any situation that I can remember. Most employees just want you to get out of the store and stop harrasing them. Since the quickest way to do that is to sell you what you want, there's no incentive for them to be difficult about selling it to you.
Frequently stores are not provided with sufficient quantities to fullfil demand for items, but that is an issue at the corporate level. Not the fault of the individual store or the employees there. If you want to bitch about that sort of thing, bitch to the corporate department not to the hapless peon who is stuck dealing with obnoxious customers all day. They take all the abuse and don't get any of the rewards.
Napoleon has a wonderful quote that explains most problems that you might experience at a Comp, "Never attribute to Malice what can sufficiently be explained by incompetence or stupidity".
There are so many reasons NOT to shop at a CompUSA, ignorant, stupid and lethargic employees, poor inventory tracking, irrational pricing, bad products/selection, etc... Its kind of silly to complain about things that aren't the fault of the store.
