Well Half-Rakshasa should get some use in my campaign based on the fact that the Rakshasa have been the eternal enemies of most of the my world in general (but mainly one nation in particular). It helps in at least expanding the Rakshasa more, and perhaps putting a little more into a Naga/Yuan-Ti/Humans vs. Rakshasa conflict.

Anyways I'm curious about what some these half undead templates are. I'm sure one of them will be a Dhampyr (half-vampire, since it exists in real world myths) which will probably be different than the one in Ravenloft: Denizens of Darkness. Would some of them be half-incorporeal undead, along with the half flesh-eating undead varieties?

What's the Level Adjustment for Half-Ogres?

Is the Lycanthrope article have Savage Species racial classes for lycanthropes, or do they work it differently?

I just wanted to provide a more in-depth run-down about issue 313

Animal Ancestry - This article has Savage Species style class levels for werebear, wereboar, wererat, weretiger, and werewolf classes. Interestingly, you only take the last level in each class if you're a natural lycanthrope; infected lycanthropes do not take the last class level. Following this are a small amount of new feats, and role-playing tips.

Shrine War - This scenario is meant to be used with the Miniatures Handbook. It has four new tiles, each one a shrine to an alignment; LG, CG, LE, CE.

Brain Power - This article talks about how the illithids have developed psi-spellcasting (though everything here is perfectly useable for any PC). This article introduces several new feats that can only be used by multiclass psionic-users/arcane-magic-users. Following that is a new PrC, the Mind Mage, that is basically a Mystic Theurge for psionic/arcane spellcasting classes.

Eyewares - a single set of new armor for beholders, along with several new magic items and feats meant for them as well. Finally, there are two short prestige classes, one for beholders specifically, and another for aberrations in general.

Born of Death - Four templates for half-undead creatures: the fetch (half-ghost), gheden (half-zombie), ghul (half-ghoul), and katane (half-vampire). Fetches get a short sidebar about them in the Ghostwalk campaign. After that is a section on "deathtouched", beings with undead ancestry, and a single type of deathtouched, the mortif.

Ghost Elves - The complete background and PC statistics of this new elf subrace.

Dragon Psychoses - Five new templates meant only for true dragons representing various forms of mental dementia they can be subject to.

Faiths of Faerun: Elder Serpents of Set - A recapping of how Set, a FR Mulhorandi deity, took over the position of another snake god, Sseth, and expanded his portfolio. Then there is the Elder Serpent template, meant only to be laid onto snake Animals or Magical Beasts. Following that is a detailed description of the Order of the Grand Snakemaster, and then two new feats for serpents.

Strange Bedfellows - Seven new templates: The half-doppelganger, half-janni, half-minotaur, half-nymph, half-ogre, half- rakshasa, and half-satyr.

Guild Secrets: The Reapers of Strife - Details and background on an organization of merchants hoping to incite wars for profit.

Plus, two one-page Dork Tower comics, two short Zogonias, and a single pge Nodwick where What's New used to be (and is now on, apparently, indefinite hiatus), DM's Toolbo, Sage Advice, and Up On a Soapbox.

Interestingly, there is, in the TOC, a listing for the "Golden Dragon Awards", apparently about Dragon's new art awards, but the article doesn't seem to appear in the issue (it's listed as being on page 16, the same page is lists, correctly this time, a Dork Tower as being on).
