Spreading holiday cheer.
So I've started the final of the CURRENT Dragonlance Trilogy. Luckily more is coming!
The first book, Dragons of Deceit was my least favorite.
The second book, Dragons of Fate was VERY GOOD with a twist ending
Now the third and final book is out and I am loving it.
Like the second book it has some of the Heroes of the Lance in it and the original DL Trilogy introduced me to D&D. So reading more of their adventures, especially after it seemed we would never get anymore ESPECIALLY written by Weis and Hickman. Lovin' it. It's like a little piece of getting to go home again.
While my trust in WotC is minimal I do have hope they bring out more 5.5 DL stuff and make it GOOD. I somehow doubt they will make them better as they seem comfortable with their adventure writing quality output.
Anyways, yeah loving the last in the trilogy so far and I already kind of have my suspicion as to where its all leading since the next trilogy seemed to retcon the old Huma v Dark Queen plot. Not to mention time travel and altering past events is involved (see the current trilogy for back to the future shenanigans).
