And from my initial scans, the table of contents was incorrect (in the Players Book).
Ok. A little more looking ... The ToC is "wrong" because the PDF page count includes the preface pages (numbered i, ii, iii, etc.) which throws off the entire ToC if you're using the PDF page numbers. And nothing is linked. So it's kind of a mess.
The book structure is also strange.
You have a glossary of terms, basic how to roll dice, ancestries, then a primer on tactical movement and measure AoEs, then class descriptions, then a couple hundred pages later how to do skill tests and combats.
Pages also appear very bland. Like, if you're going for a 4E feel, use color to clue your reader to different parts of stat blocks. Not just a bunch of symbols and line breaks.

I also am not a huge fan of the order of the presentation. I do like the look of 13th age more.

There are definitely things I like, but it's very dense and a lot to process.

Skimmed the character PDF some.....wow does it look like 4e in terms of layout (or maybe 13th age) for the character part!

Really like the upfront glossary. Do the internal links work for other people? They didn't for me.
The glossary links are current not working (those are being updated in an errata), but OTHER internal links in the book should work. There are a few bugs still they will be squashing.

I'm still flipping through the PDF. It looks like a fun game, but I haven't gone deep into the nuts and bolts of the system. I would still need to try it out. I think that this will definitely scratch an itch for me that 4e D&D previously did and that Daggerheart doesn't. To be clear, Daggerheart scratches a different sort of itch for me. These class archetypes definitely appeal to me more than those in Daggerheart, which I feel tries to cater too directly to 5e D&D fans.
