Is there any 3rd edition source book regarding drow equipment?
Does drow equipment endure in light or not? Where are these rules, if any, for 3rd edition?

Do I sense somebody playing BG 2?

There are no special rules about Drow equipment. There are some special Drow Items (in MoF and LoD), but that are wonderous items (e.g. House Jaelre Insigna) and they can sustain light.

And other Drow equipment can sustain light because they use the same materials as the surface races.

In BG2 the Drow items (+5 full plates) were made of Adamantine, IIRC. And even Adamantine can sustain light, look at page 243 of the DMG.

I've heard that Green Ronin is planning a Drow Sourcebook. I don't think it will be out real soon, however.

In the MM, under "Elf" subheading "Drow", it no longer has the specially enchanted adamantine listed (it's the enchantment which in 2e caused the admantine to disintegrate). It does have their poison listed though.

if you wanted to duplicate that ability ... you could use the variant cursed items.
