: Please read the question, folks. I know how it's supposed to be pronounced. I'm trying to deliberately deflect all the pointless replies of "it's officially cow." I already know that.

Ooops. I suck.

But my answer still hasn't changed. I like "drow" rhyming with "cow" much in the same way that I like reading newspaper headlines about Brittany Spears doing something stupid.

Drow were around long before FR became an official setting. That's where the "D" in "GDQ" comes from, although the drow were also behind the "A's", but I've no idea what the "A" in the slave lord modules were for.

Anywhoo, I started pronouncing it "Drow" as in "row row row your boat" long, long LONG before I knew it was pronounced "drow" as in "cow". I still use the former.

Where can I find this? I have never seen anything that states officially how to pronounce it. I would like to.
