Duelwielding Rogue

Demoquin

First Post
I started playing PnP for the first time so i decided to make a duel wielding elven rogue that uses daggers. I have 14 str and 18 dex. I took Weapon Finesse and TWF for feats.

How does a a dagger rogue compete for damage? Or how can one put himself so that he can make more sneak attacks be worthwhile?
I try to tumble around his backside then when he cant see me ... backstab with my 2 daggers (d4+2 with 2d6 SA)

Also is the Assassin and Shadowdancer classes worth it for a stealthy rogue? or can you think of a better class combo?

Items which provide bonuses to movement come to mind as offering the best ways to help get yourself into a sneak attack position. The two-weapon sneak attack style is rather tricky to pull off as it requires a full-round attack, which precludes you moving very much. So, for flanking to be truly successful you need a friend. So the question you need to ask is how can they help you set up flanking opportunities.

Fighters and front-line types should always try to consider how to help the rogue flank any opponent they are facing. A 5' adjustment can often mean the difference between whether or not you can sneak attack. Make sure they are looking at the possibilities.

Druids are actually of the most help for setting up flanking situations. Their ability to channel their spells into summon spells is incredibly valuable. Summoned creatures are instant flankers for rogues. Other spellcasters can pull this off too, but the druid is really the best. Delay so the druid can summon a flanker on the other side of the creature, then 5' adjust and sneak attack away.

Dude, why don't you read the responses you've already gotten to this question in General?

And to be constructive ...

The Improved Initiative Feat & tumble skill are your friend. Also consider Quick Draw, Point Blank Shot, and Far shot, allowing you to throw your daggers in surprise rounds to gain sneak attacks.

Also consider lots of skill points in bluff and the Improved Feint Feat, to increase you chance of sneak attacking.

I can't take this any more: the word is DUAL.

A duel, which is what you've been writing, is a form of contest between two people, like a sword duel or a pistol duel.

Dual, the word you're looking for, indicates "two" - dual - wielding, as in wielding two weapons.

On the menu bar at the top, click "My Account," then "My Subscribed Threads." Very handy for keeping up on the discussions you've contributed to. I won't say anything else here, I've already given a bunch of advice in the other thread. :)

Svage Species has a 1st level druid spell that allows one to charge and gain a full attack sequence. Using 3.5 item creation rules it would cost 4,000 gp. Also Snow Tiger Beserker feat from Unapproachable East as well as a another feat from Shining South (forget the name right now) allow multiple attacks on a charge.
