Dungeon #112 has arrived

Who cares about anything else in that magazine, the significant thing is the NABASSU DEMON has been converted! Woohooo!

(Obviously, I am the biggest fan of converted material there could ever be)

Ah yes, nostalgia apparently prevents complaining. Usually, complaints would run along the lines of "What! Only one adventure! We're being cheated! Some of us don't play (insert campaign setting here)! My party isn't at such-and-such level, this is useless to me! This is what supplements are for!" and so forth. Nice to know there are things that the "old timers" get excited about too.

Edit: I forgot "Tome of Horrors already revised (insert monster name here)" Some of us don't own ToH, and some of us aren't actually interested in first edition feel. Sorry to be bitter, but I see a lot of complaining on these boards about perfectly acceptable things, and this just felt like absolute hypocrisy to me. I know it's Gygax, I know it's from the Fantastic Adventure, but I just wanted to point it out.

The month is young; wait 'til it hits the news stands, and then check the threads. :)

Hey, everybody's got an "on" switch; some of us just haven't had Dungeon Mag "toggle" it in a while. :p

Must Run This!

Even though I don't usually convert modules to run at a higher level, I'm going to have to make an exception for this one --- I hope it won't be too much work. Or maybe it'll be very little work (convert the BBEG to CR 22, and the rest of the dungeon can stay the same...)?

I'm running a Greyhawk game...

My players' characters just hit 12th level last week...

They are in the Pomarj (practically next door to the Duchy) entering the endgame phase of their Slave Lords campaign...

Dead. Perfect. Timing.

As an aside: since I'm not previously familiar with WG5:MFA, are there any elements of canon that would make a useful or fun tie-in with Maure Castle and the Slave Lords/Turrosh Mak/Cult of the Earth Dragon?

Just a quick note. The intro to the module states that the PCs may reach as high as 17th level by the end of play, with the suggestion that they be allowed to advance levels during the course of the adventure.

Well for me it's just fine. I stopped buying Dungeon because of all the sub-par adventures (IMO) they were printing (like that horrible Orc and dragon turtle shell thing  )

It's not nostalgia AFAIC, I just know it will be writing from an author whose quality & style I've admired for years. In fact, I've never run, read or owned Mordys Fantastic Adventure.

..

Is the new Dungeon going to feature more frequent and regular FR modules?

I hear where going to see another FR module in 113 however the last one Forest of Blood was in Dungeon 103 which will be Ten issue or a 10+ Month gap between modules

Im not asking for an FR module in every issue but I would like to see one every 2-3 issues
