Dungeon Tiles - an appreciative note

Instead of writing directly on the tiles, have you tried using an overhead transparency (basically a thin clear piece of plastic). That way you can still see the tiles but without the worry of not being able to rub the texta off after.

It's an idea, and I'll have to think about it. One problem is that I don't know how well that will lay over the tiles - when I've got tiles on tiles, it's a bit of a bumpy surface, and I worry about how well that would work.

Of course, another idea would be to getting more plastic, and then fastening the plastic *over* each individual tile, which would definately allow for marking them with less problems. I think I'll look into that one.

Clear shelf paper should stick like glue :p and you should be able to write on them then. I'm not ready to do this yet, but I've thought about it.

I have only recently discovered tiles, and I like them.

Does anyone know if there are any d20 Modern tiles available online, say at RPGnow.com or any other site?

I wonder if it might be easier to just hit them with some kind of spray-on sealer. Maybe even Scotch-gard.

Just a thought.

As Zaukrie said, there are plenty available. You just have to be willing and able to print them out to use them. I would also suggest laminating them if you plan on using them on a regular basis.
