Dungeonscape's Factotum Base Class - Experiences?

Hello there,

I plan on playing a factotum soon. For those who have played or DM'd one, what was it like? Anything I should watch out for?

I've played one. You could sort of think of them as a 3E version of a 4E character.

It was fun and I'd run one again. They are versatile in a good way. I'm not sure if there are any great combos as far as race/class/feats.

I played one once at an RPGA game. It was quite a fun class, I have to say, probably my favorite class of the 3e era.

The only factotum I played prestige classed into beastheart adept, but my character was quite proficient at running and charging around a battlefield, using a few spells like jump and true strike to great effect, especially when flanking with my girallon minion!!! Bwahahaha!

It was an interesting class, to say the least. It's a shame I never saw more factota.
