During an attack, when to check bloodied status?

Lets say you have a creature that adds +5 damage against bloodied targets. You attack an unbloodied creature. You attack and do damage, dropping him into bloodied status. Do you know add +5 damage, or is it that the attack is finished and you wouldn't get the bloodied benefit until the next attack.

Latter. You already determined damage, you don't then edit it.
That would be a neat kind of ability though, a little extra damage that kicks in if you get the target bloodied. Good chance they already made something like it, actually.

They did indeed. You get that ability whenever you're fighting a dragon. 'Course, the extra damage hits YOU... :)

Agreed, unless the text description was something like "Berzerker: 1d6+10. If this attack makes your opponent bloodied, take an additional Standard action"

Hmm. That really isn't any different. Its triggering after the attack is resolved, not retroactively like the original example.
