Dwimmermount IC:

Midgrim, your axe digs into Segur's back causing him to howl in pain and surprise.

Climent begins chanting arcane words and three of the orcs collapse to the ground asleep though Segur remains standing.

In the mean time the injured dwarf takes advantage of the fact that the orc holding his rope was startled into dropping it and rolls towards Rethar's body snatching up his axe in one hand and swinging it at the nearest opponent striking him in the back of the leg.

To hit: [1d20] = 16, damage with axe: [1d8] = 3

OOC: the rest of you guys have a surprise round. Does someone want to make Pieters rolls for him?

Considering what they'd just been through, Pieter had been shocked by Segur's mention of eating people alive. (It almost seemed deliberate. It probably was.)

Luckily, Vindar is still too out of it to have notice, but the young priest certainly has! He too strides into combat, trying to thin the herd around Segur, Midgrim and now Klyman.

Typhon protect them: this dungeon is a truly horrible place!


Pieter attacks the orc the prisonner just wounded, hoping to finish him off: 1D20 = [20] = 20
1D4 = [3] = 3
Nat 20!

OOC: Deuce should be back Friday, I think.

Three down from the spell, one from Segur's own hand, that leaves two, thinks Midgrim: less than half their force and one badly injured already...

"Climent: FIRE BREATH on those two next!" he orders, pointing at the two survivors. Maybe they'll run, maybe they'll just flinch. Anything's good enough at this point!


OOC: Bluffing away! (He's not counting Segur in his numbers, of course).
 

Initiative for Monsters: 1d6=5
PC Initiative: 1d6=4

Sigur hollers "Fall back! and he and the two surviving Orcs retreat down the hallway to the east. Klyman, you notice Sigur seems to drop something on the ground as he retreats.
 


Midgrim has bigger fish to fry though: "Sorry ta keep doing this ta yee, Climent, but... AZOTH his porky ass, if yee please!" The others orcs can run all they want, but SIGUR MUSN'T GET AWAY!

OOC: If the mage feels more comfortable that way, Midgrim can catch/grab the azoth vial and toss it at Sigur's back himself?

Then Midgrim too pursues, axe pumping.


OOC: Can we make a (ranged?) attack this round, Imperialus, if the azoth plan doesn't quite work out? (Don't know how chases work in LL exactly.)
 

Gargrim moves as if ready to pursue, "Ack! Get on back here and fight like a dwarf, ye stinking sacks of goblin piss!" He lumbers after them with his stubby legs.

OOC: Good to be back! Should we pursue? If we let them go they are likely to go for help and we'll have to find a way out in a hurry.
