Dwimmermount IC:

Midgrim gives Climent a bit of an odd look - a mage with nothing to write with? - but then falls to concentrated study of the growing 'floor' map, pulling on his chin hairs as he tries to commit as much of it to memory as he can... "That one could be the kobold guard room we bypassed," he says tapping the room with the Y. Meaning they'd be just to the east of the whole thing... "But where's the Red Doors in all this, mapper?"

Assuming that's taken care of: "What were yee looking for in here anyways, if'n I can ask?" A mission from their church or some such, as he recalls...

OOC: I take it both the shrooms and the dried meat are eatable and that no-one recognizes the coat-of-arms on the cutlery, Imperialus? If so he'll take all of that plus the big kitchen knife.

Re the armor, Midgrim still favors using the woman's chainmail as the base, as that will likely be easiest to modify (plus I think all the kobold stuff was leathers?). Here are his rolls: Int: 1d20=4, Dex: 1d20=20, Str: 1d20=3. Not bad! Counting Gargrim's rolls I make it one INT sucess (Midgrim), one DEX sucess (Gargrim) and two STR sucesses!

Yes, the Fists did enter through the Red Doors. The entrance was the irregularly shaped room on the far left. You know that the purpose of the Fists expedition was largely the same as the Iron Defenders. Rumors of strange things going on at the mountain reached the ear of the temple in Adamas so they decided to put together an expedition to check it out. No one seriously expected the Red Doors to be open though so the group decided to check out the first few rooms largely to look for potential threats to Adamas or Muntburg.

As for the armour, you think you have figured out a way you could modify the woman's chainmail to make it fit Peiter. You'd probably just need to open a few links around the shoulder and reattach them with bits of leather so it will fit around his shoulders better.

The coat of arms isn't anything that any of you recognize though, and yes the meat and mushrooms both seem to be eatable. There is a bit of a question in the back of your mind as to what exactly the source of the meat is though... After all they had just cooked an Orc a few days ago, and they've been cooking bits of Vindar's leg since then...

Gargrim rightly decides not to scrape up any of the mushrooms mixed in with the questionable meat, and instead goes for any raw mushrooms he finds in the area. "Mushrooms soak up juices and meats... everyone knows it..."

"The Red Doors... they would be here." says Pieter, pointing them out on his crude map. "This is where we entered. We were trying to find out what was going on within the mountain and if any dangers might threaten Adamas or Muntburg. I was brought along for my skills with pen, ink and paper, as well as my meagre powers of healing."

He looks over to his companion VIndar.

"We can't leave him here. Have you cleared a way to an exit?"

Klyman Sylar

"We should definitely not leave Vindar here, but we have no practical way to get him home at this time. I say we make him comfortable with food and drink and continue our exploration. We may yet find a better way, or something that will help us greatly."
