But I was being serious. I had some the other night. It is not as sharp of a flavor as red watermelon, more subtle. And I think the flesh is a little more full bodied. It was rather good.

Anyone else ever tried yellow watermelon?

Are you sure it was a Watremelon?

There are alot of differfent melons out there.

Was it bigger or smaller than the melons you usually prefer?

A lot of melon you see today are mostly water. They get that way so they appear bigger to the consumer, but the flavor is kind of flat. Most people prefer the smaller, natural melons, as they tend to have a better, sweeter flavor.

Smaller melons equal more flavor.

Was it a smooth textured melon? Lots of melons have a smooth, silky feel to them. Courser, rougher melons would be more like a Mush-Melon.

And if its a hairy or fuzzy melon, esp if its really small, it's probably a Kiwi.

You might have had a honey-dew. A lot of people prefer honey-dew.
