I will be heading out on vacation this afternoon. I will be back June 14. I now we're in the middle of combat, but I hate posting on mobile, and won't have computer access other than my phone. So you get a bit of extra time to post, maybe RP some (I know, a bit difficult in the middle of combat). I will start everything up again as soon as I can when I get back to work.

Hey, KN, before you go/after you get back, a couple of questions. First, could Alara use Firebolt to set the couch on fire and force the Kenku to get out from behind it? Second, could she target Grease in a way that gives the kenku behind the table a disadvantage on their roll to resist the moving table? It's a 10' square, but she'd be happy to restrict it or coat the wall behind the kenku as well as hitting the floor.

Have a great trip!

I like how Alara and Ogham are both willing to set the place on fire without a second thought.

The place where we rushed in uninvited.

But hey, we've got permits! :D :D

The table is back as far is it can go because the legs are against the wall now. Good thinking, though! I would have totally allowed that. There is only 1 kenku left. I had Alara cast a fire bolt since you hadn't posted (no worries). She crit and burned one up.

Time for some OOC planning to get some input and bounce ideas against the wall!

Depending on how much time and money we have to spend, there are a few options before the showdown:
Magewrights in Sharn can cast 1st level spells for 25G, and 2nd level spells for 50G.

We could purchase an Aid spell from House Ghallanda at 50g, to give three of us an extra 5 hp. Heck, if we get nitty-gritty with it, we could also buy 10 Goodberries off of them for 25g, which is exactly the number of berries we would need to top everyone off.

Perhaps the best item we could acquire right now would be a bag of caltrops, which could slow Garra's escape should they be in the fleeing mood.
Additionally, oil is cheap. It can be used to augment Ogham's and Alara's fire cantrips significantly.

All together that would be an expenditure of 76g2s (assuming two oil flasks)

The currier fee is anywhere from 5cp to 5g depending on the situation, but we are in Terminus, which has it's own Orien enclave (mostly for handling the Lighting rail, but I would assume other services would be provided their as well) It should be easy to get a line out.

Also, thanks to being in Terminus, we would not have to travel very far to get to a decent House Ghallanda establishment, and from there the Lighting Rail Station.

Oh, I posted in the IC thread before seeing this.

Regaining some hp would be nice, and some magic as well, but it seems like we have too little time for both. Getting House Orien's help to stop that train may buy us a little time, so I like the goodberries idea for healing. Other than that, I think we'll just have to roll with it.

I tend to agree. Hire a runner to get to Alden d'Orien, hire another skycoach (sigh!) to get us somewhere to buy goodberries and then on to the lightning rail station.
