Yes, I have it. I'll be doing a full review of it at some time. Till then what do you want to know? It is filled with adventure ideas for the world. It has lots of mysteries including a cool way of handling them. Not all the answers are spells out but the book gives a lot of information.

I skimmed through a friend's copy, looks interesting, I want to pick it up as well but I'll have to wait a bit.

Things that called my attention, magic is rare enough, IIRC spells above 4th level need to be discovered through game play, this brought fond memories to me, when spellbooks where prized treasures by themselves. NPCs are not stated, they have names, history and class/level, that's it, some might not like this, but I do, I can build them to my liking, and guess what, no stat errors :)

I'll probably pick up a copy.

I couldn't justify the cove price.

So I ordered it through Amazon.com. :p

I'm surprised that this book came out though. Don't they know 4th ed is right around the CORNER! I see it peaking at me from the future!

Actually, I am surprised it came out. It was originally to be through another company. I even saw the art for it. The art was really impressive.

When MW got the licence, they tossed all the art that existed when Bastion was to be the publisher. I don't know how much Fast Forward had done before they went belly up.

What's unique about it? How is it different than dozens of other campaign settings? What does it do particularly well? What stands out about it? Etc....

The setting has limited geography. It all takes place in a small area on the coast with some islands. Around it are huge mountains and storms in the sea. 300 years back there was a catastrophe. No one knows what it was but it is the cause for the way the world is today.

What I really like is the Stars and what star or constellation you are born under can make a big difference. The races are nicely done and I like the replacement they have for the half orc. And they have a very cool take on a weak vampire like race.

Mysteries abound. But so to politics. The races area bit more intermixed geographically but each also holds some lands of their own.
