D&D 5E Elementalists (IC)

"Did you feel that?" Xobru looks around. It would not surprise him if he was the only one, but somehow, instinctively, the genasi elf knew that it was why he was sent here.

Getting up, Xobru says, "I think we should follow the orc to the temple. It is the key. It must be."

Vimak looks at Xobru, his gaze settling on the animal in the bucket quizzically for a moment as he wonders what it tastes like, and why this stranger hasn't eaten it yet. Looking at Xobru "Repairs, He said something about wizards and Repairs. Left, then he Left. Outside, I will wait for you Outside."

Vimak steps out side and takes flight. Spreading his wings, filling with joy at the feeling of the air under them again as her climbs into the air. Two tight circles around the building looking for any sign of trouble before deciding to simply glide until the others were done their meal. Before fixing most of his attention to the ground he looks up and breaths a sigh of relief as he sees open sky above him.

Theremin nods in approval at the birdman's comments. "Please excuse me" he says to those at the table as he stands up, "I will accompany you Vimak if you will allow me". His manners are a bit out of place, but he is well intentioned.

He rejoices when Vimak takes flight, and follows him in the air.

[sblock=Nacay]
The attack surely misses, and the elemental continues to smash the golden throne. As its fist comes down, the throne cracks, and Nacay can feel the magical energies on the verge of eruption.

Electrical energy lashes out to everything within ten feet. Nacay, make a Dex save with advantage, cause Rage. You take [roll0] Thunder damage on a fail. Successful save gets half damage.

Earth Elemental gets no save because it erupts as it hits. Cause I said so.

Earth Elemental takes [roll1] thunder damage.

The girl starts screaming.

Theremin and Vimak arrive at the temple, and hear the explosion, causing another shudder to run through the air.

[sblock=Theremin]
Assuming you enter the Temple, you see reflections of yourself in the mirrors. in some, you are missing your wings, a land elf. In others, your image is overlay with that of an Aaracokra. But in all the images, elemental energy swarms around you, but not in a chaotic way. It swirls in riged patterns, tightly controlled and balanced.[/sblock]

[sblock=Vimak]
Assuming you enter the Temple, you see reflections of yourself in the mirror. In some, you look human, missing your feathers and wings (even when flying). In others, you appear in your natural body, but have the look of a soldier, ready for battle. In yet others, you appear as Aarakocran Ranger, a glint of intelligence and wisdom in your eye. In every image, you see a swirl of elemental energy, Air, swirling around you, through you and out of you.[/sblock]

You both can get to the Throne Room no the next round.

Getting to the Temple slightly before Theremin I circle, seeing nothing out of the ordinary until I hear a rumbling from inside. A deep sigh, the kind that universally is understood as "Damn, really, do I have to?" Vimak looks to Theremin.

"Necessary, it is necessary."

Entering the temple cautiously, weapons drawn, he is startled at his reflection, almost firing his revolver at the human vision of himself before hearing commotion in a room with a broken door. He follows the noise.

"Why the temple? Last time it presaged the mephits. And they attacked here."
calls out Jord as Vimak disappears again.
"That, er I mean Vimak. is going to have a hard time. Most folks seem to like a roof over their head."

"Is it me, or are these... people... absolutely insane?" Lola shakes her head. "I think we should at least try to stick together instead of those fools rushing off into who knows what danger on their own, splitting up. Whadda say big guy? You look like you can run pretty fast." She gulps down the rest of her wine quickly and heads for the door. "Well, let's go. Exciting welcome to the City, huh?" She finally cracks a grin. "Might be difficult to run with that bucket 'o water Xo, maybe we should just take our time..."

OOC: Lola is heading out, assuming the other two are coming.

Xobru nods, then seems to change his mind. Grabbing the octopus and placing it awkwardly on his shoulders, the elf replies, "Hadar and I can keep up. Let's go before they get themselves in trouble."

Hadar the octopus slides around Xobru's neck, dividing its tentacles on either side of the elf's head, and with two tentacles makes a gesture as if pulling on horse's reins.

[sblock=Nacay]
The throne sputters and seems to lose some of its shimmer. Instantly, a geyser erupts from the area of broken earth that the Earth Elemental had entered from.

Nacay manages to dodge the majority of the damage from the exploding chair. However, Nacay's attacks can't seem to hurt the monster, though he does seem to be angering it. It turns on him and swipes with his clublike arms, wanting to crush the flaming half orc.

Attack Roll: [roll0]
Damage: 7

Attack Roll: [roll1]

[sblock=Theremin and Vimak]
You enter the room with the broken door, seeing a large room with seven Thrones, arranged in a half circle. The two thrones on the end appear to be made of brass, the next two are silver, the next two are gold, and the one in the middle appears to be made of platinum.

You see Nacay, currently combatting a humanoid mound of earth. The monster is nine feet tall, with large gouges already carved out of it. One of the thrones, a gold one, is broken and crushed, and there is a girl, about 12, screaming off to the side of the room.

Theremin and Vimak are now close enough to engage. The rest of the team are two rounds behind.

"Why wont you die" The half orcs breath is punctuated with gouts of flame as he shouts at the slab of earth as the blazing Inferno that was once Nacay swings down a column of flame.
OOC:
Gwm Reckless attack

1D20+2 = [17]+2 = 19

Nacay's body blazes in flames as his greatsword comes down on the monster's shoulder, slicing through the tough stone like butter, slicing the elemental's arm clean off. It stumbles from the blow.

Theremin and Vimak have turns before it's the creatures turn again.[/sblock]
