Lola deftly dodges the dasterdly demon, barely getting singed by the fire blast to follow. She turns in time to see Jord's hammer smash the last Magma Mephit to pieces of glowing red goo, and lifts a sexy hand to the closest Mud Mephit. She winks at it as a bolt of fire flies from her fingers. The bolt slams into the already injured Mud Mephit, causing it to explode! Sticky gooey mud flies from the creature and coats...

The other two Mud Mephits! One of them manages to get out of the way before becoming entangled in mud, but the other doesn't. What do you know, a Mud Mephit trapped in mud!

The trapped Mephit squirms, but only manages to get more stuck in the goo of his brother. The other mud mephit screams in rage (or, more accurately, gurgles in fury), and charges after Lola, wanting to take her head off for destroying his brother. It's claw gives her a minor cut on her arm.

The Steam and Smoke Mephits fly into the alley after Vimak, coming from all directions. Once three of them (the two Steam and one Smoke) are grouped up close enough, Vimak fires his weapon at the one in the center. The bullet strikes true, and just before it does, a Hail of Thorns shoots out from it, though all three manage to dodge before the majority of the damage gets them. None of the Steam or Smoke Mephits are out of the fight, and will reach Vimak on their next turn.

As for Nacay, they all keep attacking him. All six of them.

Holy $#!&. They all missed. Nacay manages to dodge every attack, including the one with advantage. Good job Nacay!

OOC: Ok, y'all's turn! Jord and Xobru will have to spend their action trying to get out of the mud, unless they want to try something else.

Xobru tries to wiggle out of the accursed mud that has him trapped. He moves this way and that, getting out of the sticky stuff, but when the octopus joyfully climbs back to the elf's shoulder, Xobru loses his balance, falling back into the mud with a splash.

OOC: Dex save: [roll0]

Nacay calmly switches both his balance and his grip before again. raising his blade and bringing it down upon the strange dust creature he had hit with his javelin previously.

Seeing that they are closing in Vimak drawls his sword and leaps into the air, flapping his wings to build up speed and fly above the smoke mephit close enough to slice down at it on his way by before heading back into the air to, hopefully, lead them on another chase.

Colossus Slayer (I believe this is applicable) [roll2]

Using Mobility to try to limit opportunity attacks from the Mephit I am slashing at.

Vimak misses, but doesn't provoke AOO from the Mephit he swung at due to Mobility. He does, however, provoke AoO's from the other two. They both hit, and one crits. They do 12 damage to him total. A nice couple of gashes along his side.

Nacay misses once more. Xobru's still stuck in mud, though only for three more rounds. Jord is free, and smashed the stuck Mud Mephit. It ain't dead, but it ain't happy, either.

Lola's and the monk's turn! Fireball, anyone? (I promise, I'll learn the monk's name eventually.)

OOC: Here's the status of the Mehpits:

Magma: All dead.
Mud: One dead, one stuck and hurting badly, one hurting badly.

Steam: two hurting, one hurting badly
Smoke: One hurting badly, two unhurt

Ice: All three Unhurt
Dust: One hurt badly, two unhurt.

Lola glanced around the street at the exploding creatures leaving their guts everywhere, the one pathetic creature closer to her and the swarm about to devour the ... thugish man... who had been sitting next to her in the tavern. It was much more desireable to be able to cause destruction in the streets as it had been quite some time since she'd just let loose with her spells, it was never exactly easy to just throw them around with all the spell restrictions and such. However, mostly everyone was off the streets or busy fighting and it wasn't likely the man would complain too much about being slightly... singed.

She pushed her long hair behind her ears before digging into a small pouch and coming out with a pinch of material. She looked to that threatening mud creature, "Say goodbye to your little friends..." blew him a kiss then finished casting her spell with a huge grin, sending a small bead flying towards Nacay.

OOC: Aiming for Nacay, trying to hit his attackers and not the others. I didn't do *too* much damage to Nacay... Fireball Damage: 8D6 = [1, 2, 5, 2, 5, 6, 3, 1] = 25

Feeling the pain of the attacks Vimak caws angrily. Then looking back over his shoulder for a second as he flies away from his attackers.

"Die. For that you will Die."

OOC: Nacay, make a Dex save.

A ball of fire flings from Lola's hands, streaking towards Nacay, and explodes in an awesome show of power. The ensuing fire engulfs Nacay, the six Mephits surrounding him, and the Mud Mephit stuck in its own mud. The Flame is so intense, everyone present must close their eyes against the blast.

When they come to, everyone looks up to see a pile of charred mud where the Mud Mephit used to be, two dust Mephits, still alive, but with most of their bodies covered in glass, a pile of molten glass, and three puddles that are quickly evaporating.

In other words, she killed all three Ice Mephits, one Dust Mephit and a Mud Mephit, and the two remaining Dust Mephits are mostly covered in glass.

There's still one Mud Mephit standing next to Lola, with his mouth open, and of course, the Steam and Smoke Mephits going after Vimak.

Other than that, good job!
