Elf or Human , whos better?

I take human.

I would rather be an expansionist, bloody, wicked, mortal, fleshbound creature

than

A prancy poncing gumdrop-tree-frolicking limp-wristed tiara-wearing captain of the wus patrol.

I perfer playing humans, mainly because I like the skill points, extra feat, freedom in multiclassing, and general coolness.

I also like playing dwarves about as much as playing humans, due to their bonuses which I find very useful.

Elves are okay, but I would only place them above half-elves on my list of favorite races. The elves just don't hold much appeal to me in both role-playing and stat areas, although I'll admit that my perception of elves could be slightly tainted by my annoyance with elf-worshippers who think elves are the end-all, be-all of all races.

Human, all the way.

The extra feat and skills is a big boost, and I already know how to properly play a human . I find human, being generic, has the biggest possible range of RP choices, as opposed to the other races, who have a narrower stereotyped range. I personally find the elven mindset hard for me to fathom, and don't like trying to undertake the effort of playing something with a century of life experience over me.

It also helps that my biggest pet peeve is people who play elves as humans with pointy ears, I haven't honestly seen a good RP'd elf yet, and would like too.

The only other race I like and play regularily is dwarves, they are a close contender to humans, they rock. (which is funny because I personally am nothing like a hard working, conservative dwarf, but I guess that is the whole point of RPing.

I like Datt think Dwarves are the best. They kill everything in sight and with the added con it takes a lot to kill em.

Aw man, now I need to find art of a gelatinous cube with a halo and feathery white angel wings that has a cleric's skeleton floating inside of it.. platemail of righteousness, big ol' shield with a holy symbol on it, etc.
