My status is "Trying 4E with no long term decisions made".

What I want to know is who's going to stat the 4E Iconics, and which system will they use? :D

Will 'Martial Power' include the librarian class?

Seriously though, Psion needs to be on the list for 3e. He is a great reviewer even if I don't agree with him very often. I can read his review and know if the book is for me.

I see that I'm in good company; although, I'm not iconic.

the jester - Believed to be going 4e.
I follow J's threads and story hours quite regularly, and I can honestly say I think he's decided to go 4e. He's even begun doing conversions of monster and not just the low-level one on that one thread.

Crothian isn't going 4e, at least according to his blog. Interestingly, he identifies himself primarily as a Changeling judge instead of a D&D player. He's skilled at more games than anyone else I know.

Right now we are 2 years into my Changeling game and it might be the best game I've ever ran. I'm not sure if we will see year three as two of my players are gun ho Changeling fans and one of them is the husband to a gun ho Changeling fan. This though is my primary campaign and has been since I started it. It was also in the planning stages for the 2 or 3 years it took to track darn all the books.

I own 4e, I've read 4e, I've played 4e. It looks fun. But I'm not going there just yet. I kind of jokingly told some of my players the campaign I would run to usher out third edition thinking I'd never run it. And they liked the idea so much I will be running it come July.

But that hasn't stopped me from running Changeling the Lost, Dread, Og!, Fear Itself and Trail of Cthulhu, and many other games this year. In a week at Origins I'm playing in about a dozen games (and demoing so many more), all of them different, most of them games I've never played before, and non of them anything like D&D. I've been playing D&D since 1980, so I try to experience as much other games as I can.

*sigh* I guess this is a sign that I should post here more in a status other than that of a moderator: I'm no longer Iconic. :(
Don't worry Rel. I definitely know you're here. You might not be iconic, but IMO, you're a god. Well, sort of. I named the God of the Rakasta for my World of Kulan campaign setting, Rel.

Note that I didn't actually name the god after Rel the moderator; I'd named that god ages of ago before there even was an EN World.

I'd add Psion to that list. And even John Cooper.

It's nice to be remembered.

And assuming I make WP's "cut":[sblock=Stuff]Staying 3e is probably the safest way to put it.

More completely, I've segued into a Spycraft/Spirit of the Century GM in the same way that Crothian's primarily a changeling GM.

As for 4e: I don't see it as unplayable and I'd play if a friend offered to run. But it will never supplant 3.x for my fantasy gaming needs. Pathfinder and/or Fantasy Craft may step in there.[/sblock]

I add some more names, and I'm slapping an almighty Plane Sailing-type of lockdown on that list. Otherwise we'll have 42,000 iconics, out of 43,000 EN World members. Is the list perfect? Hell no. Should there be other names on there? Yes. Make your own list if you don't like mine. :)

Wis

p.s. That said, I should have remembered Rel and Psion. My apologies.
