EN World Iconics: To 4e or Not to 4e.

2) I'll probably end up going where "my community" goes.

Well, I'm not sure how currently active any of these are (Xath's a mod, at least ), but the three that jump to mind for me are (I'm sure that has to be others, maybe even more iconic, but I'm not remembering at the moment):

Buttercup
Queen Dopplepopolis
Xath

Also, I don't think I'll be going too far out on a limb to say that Buttercup is sticking with 3.x and Queen D is switching to 4e. I don't know about Xath.

Hmm... I would say that the ego boost it gives me is about equal in inverse proportions to your sense of inadequacy.

Queen D, on the other hand, is enjoying the heck out of 4e.

Dude, women don't game.

Even assuming they are achieving better representation among gamers, I bet it's still true that they are under-represented among DMs.

And I think we're still in the early stages of 4e, where the decision to switch or not is largely in the hands of the DM.

EDIT: And although we know that Piratecat is switching to 4e, I haven't had a chance yet to ask his better half what she thinks of 4e.
