EN World Iconics: To 4e or Not to 4e.

Additional data points on Wulf Ratbane:

1) I still don't have a copy of 4e.

2) I'll probably end up going where "my community" goes.

3) You need at least 1000 posts and/or a join date that predates the announcement of 4e to influence me with your 4e review.

4) <---- Recalcitrant.

Did I misread the list or are there no female iconics? Way to go guys, scare off all the ladies...

True. OK, I'll break my lockdown and throw some on there...just need some names to use.

Wulf: Duly noted.

Well, I'm not sure how currently active any of these are (Xath's a mod, at least ;)), but the three that jump to mind for me are (I'm sure that has to be others, maybe even more iconic, but I'm not remembering at the moment):

Buttercup
Queen Dopplepopolis
Xath

Also, I don't think I'll be going too far out on a limb to say that Buttercup is sticking with 3.x and Queen D is switching to 4e. I don't know about Xath.

Dude, women don't game.

Even assuming they are achieving better representation among gamers, I bet it's still true that they are under-represented among DMs.

And I think we're still in the early stages of 4e, where the decision to switch or not is largely in the hands of the DM.

EDIT: And although we know that Piratecat is switching to 4e, I haven't had a chance yet to ask his better half what she thinks of 4e.
