What about the Predacons? I always liked Predaking myself (although I voted for Devastator).
The big thing about the Constructicons and Predacons was that all the robots were the same size, which was much cooler than the other groups where the torso guy was almost three times the size of everyone else (at least, in the toy versions of the groups).
My only problem with the Constructicons was that there were almost as many add-on pieces for Devastator as there were actual Constructicons.

How can you top a guy who's write up says he has no known weakness? Plus the bigger figures held together better than the smaller merging figures.
My second choice would be the one the combaticons formed...Bruticus! Tanks, helecopters, and other combat vehicles made him pretty cool. Cars are nice but jeeps with cannons are better.

Megatron kicked the living electrons out of Mr. Predaking. (this was after he cheated and had Optimus killed via a trial by computer game, he went insane shortly afterwards).I would have voted for Predaking, but since he wasn't there I voted for the constructions and protecabots ...

The only one I remember though is Nosecone.
