so to qualify for epic feats, do U have to be at level 21+?

the epic feat dmg reduction only has prereq of con 21, and Dire charge only requires Improved Init....

im thinking you do have to be an "Epic" character to get access to [Epic] feats, but it doesnt come out and say that.

what do U think?

I hope you don't have to be 21+ to choose Epic Feats. That would be an unelcome (for me) change to the general rule for feats.

I'd hope that they would just have tough requirements that you'd often (in some cases always, perhaps) need to be 21+ level to qualify.

But, to answer your question - I don't know.

ACQUIRING EPIC FEATS
Just like regular feats, epic feats are chosen rather than bought with points. Characters gain epic feats in the following ways:
1) At 21st level, and every three levels thereafter, the character may select an epic feat in place of a non-epic feat.
2) Each character class gains bonus feats according to the class description. These feats must be selected from the class’ list of bonus
feats described in this chapter (some of which are epic feats).

That sucks. The more I here about this Epic book the less I like it. Its better than the crap from FRCS though.

thnx mike, that clears it up for me...must haved skimd that part in elated rush to look at epic wonderus items and weapons.

:p

I sure hope it's restricted to Epic characters only. Otherwise, a dwarf could get it at level 6, which looks just a bit overpowered to me.

That's funny. You would expect that only a divine user could select a divine feat, and that only a spellcaster could select a metamagic feat, and only someone with the wild shape ability could select a wild feat, so it only stands to reason that only an epic individual could select an epic feat, but surely, that's just silly. ;)

You should hold judgement until you actually read it. It's only fair. Would it be fair for me to say that you are a terrible kisser? No. Why? I've never kissed you, so I have no idea.

thats what i was afraid of. The Dire Charge only reguires improved init and lets u make a full attack action at the end of a charge...

It seems tho that most people agree that it takes 21+ lvls to qualify for any [Epic] feats
