I have a char concept that would fit Hospitaler *perfectly*--except.
One glance at the prereqs says it's designed as a mounted PrC. One look at the abilities the PrC provides says it's designed with Paladins in mind.
So...how...the...*HELL*...can it be that Hospitaler levels don't stack with Paladin levels for the purposes of determining the mount's abilities? It even says the LoH ability stacks with a Paladin's.
Please tell me this omission was a mistake (and, if possible, point me to the place that says it is!) --If not, could someone tell me what possible rationale could justify this? The PrC *sucks* without that benefit, and it can be argued that it isn't all that powerful even with that ability.
Thanks.
